A dance recital and concert on the same day & same time!

A mom's dilemma...

Colden's first ever concert in Kindergarten on June 1st, 7pm.  Brindley's end of the year dance recital on June 1st, 7pm.  What is a mommy to do?  Well, I found out...this is much harder on a mommy than anyone else, including the kids!  They were so understanding that I couldn't be at both places at the same time.  My heart still aches that I couldn't see Colden's first concert at school, but with the help of video, I'm going to be just fine!  = )

Thank goodness for family...we divided and conquered!   3 to Brindley's recital and 3 to Colden's concert.

Brindley's Preschool Concert

Brindley's preschool concert was so cute!  They did many fun songs and it was such a treat to watch them!

Mother's Day Tea

I went to my last Mother's Day Tea in preschool!  I'm going to miss these special events that preschool's can do, and elementary schools don't necessarily have time for!  

Brindley's teachers absolutely amaze me.  The effort they put into crafts, special events and teaching these kids is endless!  I had a fabulous time and felt very spoiled enjoying special treats, coffee and homemade gifts!  

A Disneyland Birthday...

We had a fabulous trip to Disneyland!!  Not only is Disneyland the happiest place on earth, but it has to be the best place to spend your 5th birthday!  Brindley had a very special 5th birthday!  The weather was amazing, and we had so much fun!  We spent most of our time at Disney, but ventured to California Adventure and Legoland!  We were up late each night watching fireworks, Fantasmic and World of Color!

My brother was here for a visit from Germany!  It was so great to see him and spend time together!  Unfortunately his family couldn't come along, so we missed see them, but we are so thankful we could see Mike!

 

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter...I think best of all was the sunshine!

The Easter Bunny hid eggs indoors and outdoors this year! After we hunted for eggs, we went to church...both kids sang in the Easter Choir and did so great (don't have any great pics of that)! We hosted Easter Brunch and had most of our family here!

Kindergarten Basketball!

Colden had a very fun season of basketball...his first official season! He had kids from his class on his team, which made it extra fun! It was neat to see him grow in the sport, but also to see him grow to really like it!
