mother's day tea

On Wednesday, I was invited to a Mother's Day Tea in Colden's classroom! It was so sweet! He escorted me from the door to our seats and then performed two songs! We got to enjoy a cupcake, strawberries and punch together! He also made a sweet frame that I will forever treasure!A little performance!
Colden and Mommy
Loved this poem and then of course the answers in his own words...What is your Mommy's favorite thing to do? "Clean the house!" (I think if you click on it, you would be able to read it!)

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Girl!

Yesterday was Brindley's 3rd birthday! And as everyone says when it's their child's birthday, where does the time go?

We are sure enjoying our little girl. Her personality has absolutely sprouted this past year! She has a great balance to her which is so neat...I think because she has a brother...she is tough, loves to throw and kick balls, and would do just about anything to be on her brother's soccer team...but at the same time...loves her dresses, dolls, strollers, painting her toes and playing in her kitchen! I think it's so awesome...I see her being that "all around" girl...playing sports and taking dance! No matter what she decides to do, she is one special little girl.

We had a pretty laid back celebration for Miss Brindley. Mommy had to run 8 miles in the morning for training, so Daddy took the kids on a special trip to Top Pot Doughnuts! After that, Brindley and I got our first manicure and pedicure together! It was so much fun and she did awesome! Red Robin was the decision for lunch time, followed by a nice nap! We waited for Gigi to come over for dinner and opened some presents and of course indulged in some cake!

Brindley is having a mini tea party celebration with some friends on Tuesday...so I will post "tea party" pictures later on!!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! We love you!
