Dance observation...

I had the pleasure of observing Brindley's dance class for the first time! Miss Sue doesn't allow parents to stay for class (which I totally understand), so she schedules "observation days."

This is a dream come true of mine...to see my little girl in ballet class! She was so incredibly awesome, such a great listener and did so well! I'm EXTREMELY excited for her holiday performance in December, in which she will be "Spun Sugar!"

Bouncy House Party!

Colden wanted his "friend" birthday party to be at the bouncy house this year! They all really had a great time and were all sweating by the time they were done! It's such a great facility and Colden had a great birthday!

Thank you to all his friends who helped celebrate his 5th birthday!

BFF's in matching shirts! Totally unplanned (I'm serious)!

I officially have a 5 year old!

Our Colden turned five on Friday!! We can hardly believe we actually have a 5 year old!! Colden is actually at a great age...we have great conversations and he has the best imagination! We are very proud of him and the sweet boy he is turning out to be!

On Friday (his actual birthday), we met Brian downtown for lunch and hung out at the waterfront for awhile. We played games and rode the carousel too!

Friday night, we got Zeek's pizza (Colden's choice) and family came over to celebrate with us! It was a fun night and Colden was so excited he didn't fall asleep until 10pm and woke up at 4:30am wanting to play with his new toys!! Needless to say, we were pretty much zombies on Saturday!

We had a "friend" celebration at the Bouncy House on Sunday...pictures to come!!

Fall City Farms Field Trip x2

For the past two days, I have been on two field trips to the same place with a different child each day! = ) We get to go to Fall City Farms on a field trip each year with Glory Days preschool! My kids were scheduled on two different days back to back! It was fun to be able to spend time with each one of them and it was neat to be apart of Brindley's first field trip experience!

They learn about the farm (who knew the most important animal on the farm was a bee!), make apple cider, take a hay ride, and harvest a pumpkin!

*I took my horrible, tiny camera to have my hands free and not worry about my nice camera, but clearly there is something wrong with it...so the pics aren't that great!*

FINALLY... A big girl room for Brindley!

Brindley finally has her big girl room! It was a long road and I won't bore you with details, but what matters is that her room is complete and we couldn't be happier with it!
